The annual East Sunday duck race is organised by Nunney Community Association.

The Nunney Community Association hosts the traditional Easter Sunday bonnet parade and duck race in the Market Place in Nunney. The bonnet parade starts around 11.30am in the Market Place.

Everyone is welcome to join in with the event. You could win a yummy Easter egg. Categories this year are 0-4 years, 5-7 years, 8-10 years, 11-15 years, adult men and adult women. Have you decorated your hat yet?

Shortly afterwards, at 12.30pm, 500 plastic yellow ducks will race down the Nunney Brook through the centre of the village, with prizes for the winners. Visitors can sponsor ducks, with the money supporting community projects. Ducks are on sale at the SPAR village shop and on the day at £1 each.

New this year is a deli stall selling delicious produce. Nunney Castle is free to explore and open all day. Free visitor parking is available in Old Quarry Gardens, Castle Hill (signposted).
