See some of the best talents on Britain’s stand-up comedy scene on the first ever Comedy Night at The George at Nunney on Thursday 23 April.
The hugely popular Bristol-based comedian Ben Thurston hosts a night of laughter and top entertainment featuring Chris Chopping and Dan Thomas, two great national acts performing in your very own pub.
Ben Thurston (@BenThurston) is a comic whose mix of clever observations, one-liners and stories of his own embarrassment and stupidity have led to him being heard on Radio 4 Extra as part of the BBC New Comedy Act Competition 2013 and doing gigs for Eminent Banter, The Cube Cinema in Bristol, The Comedy Den in Cardiff, The Komedia Bath New Act Night and many others.

Chris Chopping (@MrChrisChopping”) is a Cardiff based comedian who gigs regularly, bringing his engaging anecdotal style to audiences around the UK.
He also regularly comperes nights around South Wales, proving himself to be a, “laconic host and quick witted raconteur” South Wales Echo.

Dan Thomas (@danthomascomedy) is an award-winning Welsh comic who performs at all the UK’s high profile venues such as The Glee Clubs, Highlights, The Comedy Store and Komedia. He has also made appearances at several festivals, including Green Man.
In 2011, Dan was hand chosen to support Russell Kane on his national tour of the Perrier Award winning show Smokescreens and Castles and also toured with Russell on his last Manscaping tour.
As well as stand up, Dan works as a TV warm up artist for several shows, including Channel 4’s Deal Or No Deal. Dan has also appeared on ITV’s Houseguest and BBC Wales Funny Business.

Comedy Night at The George at Nunney takes place on Thursday 23 April. Doors open at 7.30pm and the show starts at 8pm.
