Somerset Moviola and the Nunney Village Hall Committee present Bridget Jones’ Baby, on Friday 10 February at Nunney village hall.
Bridget Jones’ Baby is a 2016 romantic comedy film directed by Sharon Maguire and written by Helen Fielding, Dan Mazer and Emma Thompson, based on the fictional columns by Fielding.
The latest in the line of successful Bridget Jones films! As usual Renée Zellweger plays Bridget. Her now successful single life is interrupted when she finds herself pregnant.
She is unsure of the identify of her baby’s father – is it long-term love interest Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) or new American suitor Jack Quant (Patrick Dempsey)? Come and find out!
This is a film of warmth and wit, reminiscent of the original, in which Zellweger is arguably even funnier and sharper than before.
