You may find some strange birds in the gardens on Nunney Open Gardens Day on Sunday 28 June, the theme chosen for this year.
There are usually about 20 gardens in all shapes, styles and sizes that will be open from 11am to 5pm.
The cost is being held at £5 for an adult and children are welcome free if accompanied by an adult. There will be a list of things that might interest children in the gardens.
Some of the gardens are at the edges of the village, so a minibus will be regularly going round from the village square for Nunney Open Gardens Day 2015.
This is also where you can pick up a plan of the gardens and pay. There will be a stall with produce from the gardens.
Please park in the 2 areas arranged at the Old Quarry Gardens and the Village Hall as we must keep the main roads free. Also at the Hall there will be light refreshments all day including cream teas which will be available at the church as well.
Dogs will be allowed in the gardens with the permission of the gardener.
As always gardeners are dependent on the weather and at the time of writing there are some welcome April/May showers, but even if it rains on the day itself most gardeners will come in wellies and macs.
Gardeners are always interested in what other people do and even if you are not a gardener it is often fun just visiting.
