The fish and chips restaurant at Nunney Catch is popular for both eating in and takeaways.
The Catch opened on Thursday 11 September after weeks of hard work. In the first four months The Catch served over 15,000 takeaway meals alone. The restaurant was previously a branch of Little Chef and most recently the Imperial Court Chinese restaurant. Now the building and its interior have had a complete makeover and look very bright and clean. The Catch is a 90-seat restaurant with a take away counter, promising the best fish and chips this side of Penzance.
The Catch is a welcome addition to Nunney and set to be popular with local residents and passing visitors alike. With fresh fish delivered daily, The Catch restaurant promises to serve the best you can find. It’s not just battered fish either, although the restaurant is billed as a traditional fish and chip restaurant. With beautiful scallops and juicy mussels you’ll be able to enjoy some of the best seafood around. Not a fan of fish? Don’t worry! The menu includes options for all taste buds, with delicious steaks, mouth-watering burgers and light bites for the smaller appetites. Just want a coffee and bacon bagel or a slice of cake? No problem!
Location The Catch restaurant is located just off the A361 Nunney Catch roundabout between Shepton Mallet and Frome. (Did you know there’s an amazing moated medieval castle just 1 mile down the road in the centre of Nunney too – for free?)
Opening hours Serving every day from 9am to 9pm. Booking is appreciated for the restaurant.
