45 Years is a 2015 British film based on a short story by David Constantine and directed by Andrew Haigh. It stars Charlotte Rampling, Dolly Wells, Tom Courtenay, Geraldine James.
There is just one week until Kate Mercer’s forty-fifth wedding anniversary and the planning for the party is going well.
But then a letter arrives for her husband. The body of his first love has been discovered, frozen and preserved in the icy glaciers of the Swiss Alps.
By the time the party is upon them, five days later, there may not be a marriage left to celebrate.

45 Years has a 12A rating. Films classified 12A and video works classified 12 contain material that is not generally suitable for children aged under 12. No one younger than 12 may see a 12A film in a cinema unless accompanied by an adult.
