Can you help clean up the church?

Can you help churchwardens Caroline Pomeroy and Shindi Poonia tidy up the church and churchyard on Saturday 21 April from 9am until noon?

Nunney ChurchPlease come and help the church and churchyard get ready for a summer full of weddings, concerts and teas in church.

If lots of people came for an hour or so during the morning, we could make a big impact! Could you spare an hour?

Tools and equipment will be provided, but feel free to bring some gardening tools. Fresh coffee and homemade flapjacks will be waiting for you.

Nunney Churchyard is where many beloved friends and relatives of Nunney residents are buried. In addition, Nunney Church welcomes over 13,000 visitors from outside Nunney every year.

All it needs is a quick clean-up now that spring has sprung. Many hands make light work.

There are lots of little jobs that need doing, including making a bonfire, pruning the roses over the gate, clearing leaves, clearing the gutters and drains around the church and trimming some shrubbery.

Let us know if you can come, or just turn up!
