Cavalier Jazzmen

The Cavalier Jazzmen will perform exciting traditional jazz at Nunney Village Hall tonight from 7.30pm.

Cavalier JazzmenThis concert is part of the Raise the Roof fundraising campaign for Nunney Church roof.

Previous jazz nights at Nunney Village Hall have been packed to the rafters, and this one is likely to be very popular too.

There will be café-style seating, delicious food from the New Orleans Café, a licensed bar, dancing and a raffle.

Events Horizon will be donating some of the food and bar profits to the Raise the Roof Appeal, so come and dance, eat, drink and be jazzy!

The menu is as follows:

Main course – £7.50

Louisiana Southern Fried Chicken
(juicy pieces of deep-fried crispy chicken, served on a bed of red beans and rice – finger-lickin’ good the Louisiana way)

New Orleans Jambalaya
(a rich and spicy mix of chicken, chorizo, bacon, shrimp and rice with cornbread on the side)

Bourbon-glazed pork ribs
(pork ribs baked in a sticky orange and Bourbon sauce, served with
red beans and rice)

Veggie Creole
(courgette, corn, celery, tomatoes, aubergine and sweet potato in
a spicy creole sauce, served with red beans and rice, and cornbread wedges)

Pudding – £3.50

Chocolate bread pudding with Bourbon pecan sauce
or
Blueberry baked cheesecake

Or two courses for a tenner!

Keren Hayden of Events Horizon is happy to cater for special diets if you let her know by Saturday morning (01373 836 315).

The concert starts at 7.30pm and the bar opens at 7pm. Please arrive early to get a good seat or table.

Tickets are available from the SPAR shop and Castle Kitchen in Nunney for £10 (child £5), or on the door.
