Children’s music workshop and family ceilidh

A fun music workshop for young musicians aged 7 to 16 takes place in Nunney village hall on Saturday 3 June, followed by a family ceilidh.

music workshop

Join inspirational musician and teacher, Paul Hutchinson for an afternoon of music making. Learn new tunes and then play on stage with Paul and the band for the family ceilidh which takes place at the end of the workshop.

All instruments welcome. You will receive the sheet music by email before the event, so that you can practise before the workshop.

Paul will then make sure everyone is confident to play the tunes and get you ready to play on stage with him for some of the ceilidh dances later that day.

Paul is an internationally renowned musician and teacher having played with various musical collaborations, including Balszhaar’s Feast, Hoover the Dog and Pagoda Project.

He teaches many groups and individuals of all ages and has full DBS clearance.

Refreshments will be provided during the afternoon and there will be food available to purchase at the village hall after the workshop and before the evening ceilidh starts at 6pm.

Children who come to the music workshop have free entry for the ceilidh and will be able to dance for some of the evening and play on stage with Paul and the band for the tunes they have learned earlier in the day.

Get your friends and family to come along and dance to the music at the family ceilidh in the evening. Food and a licensed bar will be available during the evening ceilidh.

Tickets can be purchased online on the event’s Eventbrite page.
