The Nunney Community Association (NCA) organises many events throughout the year.
The undoubted highlight is the NCA’s activities is the annual Nunney Street Market and Fayre, which takes place on the first Saturday in August.
Recommended in The Times as one of ‘the village fêtes to be seen at this summer’, the event attracts over 8,000 visitors from across the South West of England and raises vital cash for charities and community projects.
Other annual events organised by the Nunney Community Association include the Easter Sunday Bonnet Parade and Duck Race, the Inter-Street Quiz and Carols in the Castle.
In addition, the Nunney Community Association organises one-off events for mark special occasions, such as the community lunch down Church Street for the 2012 Diamond Jubilee and a Medieval Supper at Nunney Village Hall in 2010 to mark 750 years since the granting of a royal market charter.
The Nunney Community Association is a registered charity (#283631). The NCA meets once a month to plan events and report progress. Meetings are public and visitors are welcome. For the date and location of the next NCA meeting see the calendar on this website.
