There is so much to see and do at Frome Agricultural & Cheese Show, which is held at the West Woodlands Showground on Saturday 12 September 2015.

The Frome Agricultural & Cheese Show is a great day out with a lot more on offer than great cheese.

OVER 350 TRADE STANDS
A non stop shopping experience from a range of unique gifts and products from national and local suppliers.

VILLAGE GREEN ENTERTAINMENT
Back by popular demand, Titan the Robot, the intergalactic superstar who performs an array of comedy sketches and routines. Entertainment throughout the day including the Joseph Peace Fire Stunt Spectacular. Static and flying birds of prey displays from Ben Potter’s Eagle and Vulture Team, guaranteeing a flying dispay unlike anything you have ever seen! Non-stop action from Honda’s official and the UK’s number one motorcycle display team, the Bold dog Lings team. A very amusing display of sheep dogs working with ducks by the Dog and Duck Show. Wylye Valley Pony Club and the much loved Beagles.

COUNTRYSIDE PURSUITS AREA

A new attraction introduced at the 2010 Show which incorporates a lake where visitors can watch gun dogs in action, fly fishing, country craft demonstrations and much more.

RANGEMASTER KITCHEN THEATRE

Celebrity chef Paul Rankin. Paul is best known for being one of the longest standing and most successful chefs on Ready Steady Cook which regularly pulled in viewers of nearly 3 million. More recently, with fellow chef Nick Nairn, Paul has presented two series of Paul and Nick’s Big Trip, traveling on a boat around the coasts of Northern Ireland and Scotland exploring their Ulster Scots culinary heritage. Paul recently filmed the third series in the USA due to air in 2015.

He has also appeared on Step up to the Plate (BBC1), Local Food Heroes (UKTV), Saturday Kitchen (BBC1), Ten Mile Menu (ITV1), and Celebrity X Factor (ITV1) as one of ‘The Chefs’;

In 2014 he appeared in three episodes of Win It Cook It on Channel 4, and as a panellist on BBC Two’s The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice. He will be demostrating various recipes using local ingrediants, situated in the Cheese Pavilion.

LIVESTOCK VILLAGE
Come and see all the different breeds of Cattle, Sheep, Goats & Pygmy Goats, with livestock winners taking part in THE GRAND PARADE at 3pm in the Main Ring – a truly magnificent sight.

HANDICRAFT, HOMECRAFT AND HORTICULTURE MARQUEE
Come and see a spectacular display of exhibits ranging from knitted garments to homemade cakes, flowers to miniature gardens.

MAIN RING
Entertainment through out the day including BSJA Show Jumping, Beagles & Fox Hounds, Shetland Performance Display Team, Grand Parade and much more.

DOG AGILITY RING
Spectacular displays from ‘Trick n Treat’ for the public to watch and see various competitions and demostrations.

FODDER & GRAIN MARQUEE
Come and see the many exhibits from local farmers and learn fantastic facts about how crops can be used to produce our food.

POULTRY & EGG MARQUEE
A marquee packed full of different breeds of birds and many egg exhibits.

ANIMAL NURSERY
Definitely worth a visit, this is a firm family favourite with lots of animals to get up close to, from reptiles to Reindeer!

FUNFAIR
Rides for all ages.

RURAL CRAFT & SHOPPING HALL
Over 50 trade stands on display selling products ranging from jewellery to childrens games. A true shoppers dream!

Frome Cheese ShowCHEESE PAVILION
Extended at the 2010 show, this pavilion showcases the finest dairy produce in the country. There is a fantastic range of trade stands and organic cheese making demostrations for visitors to enjoy.

FINE & LOCAL FOOD HALLS

Over 40 trade stands selling the finest food to try and buy.

OPENING HOURS
The Frome Cheese Show 2015 is held on Saturday 12 September at the West Woodlands Showground. It is open from 8.30am until 6pm.

TICKETS

Come early to enjoy a full day’s entertainment, the Show opens at 8.30am. Last year’s show experienced heavy traffic at certain times so why not make use of the free bus service from locations in Frome.

The Showground offers FREE car parking and FREE buses which are available from various points in Frome, CLICK Bus link for details.
