Gentle exercise

Did you know that you can join gentle exercise classes at Nunney Village Hall every week?

Pilates

On Monday mornings from 10am Nunney Village Hall hosts Pilates classes for beginners.

Pilates can help maintain and increase your mobility, flexibility, relieve stiffness in joints, strengthen muscles and make easier everyday movements, such as walking, gardening or even working at a computer.

Pilates is suitable for all ages and abilities. Gentle flow Pilates will involve some chair-based exercises.

Local Shibashi Tai Chi class

On Wednesday mornings from 10am to 11am Julie and Dianne run Shibashi Tai Chi classes at Nunney Village Hall.

It’s more important than ever to look after our health, not just physical but mental and social health too.

Age UK Somerset runs various activities across the county to you do just that.

Shibashi Tai Chi has been specifically designed for its health benefits and has just 18 gentle, easy to learn movements to improve flexibility and breathing, co-ordination and balance, energy and wellbeing.

No experience is necessary. These movements can be done sitting or standing. Enjoy a cup of tea and a biscuit afterwards.
