The Grand Budapest Hotel

Somerset Moviola and the Nunney Village Hall Committee present The Grand Budapest Hotel, on Friday 12 September at Nunney village hall.

The Grand Budapest HotelThe Grand Budapest Hotel recounts the adventures of Gustave H, a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend.

The story involves the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance painting and the battle for an enormous family fortune – all against the back-drop of a suddenly and dramatically changing Continent.

A cast containing many star names (Ralph Fiennes, Jude Law and Tilda Swinton to name but a few), this is a comedy “full of rapier-sharp wit”, and reputedly director Wes Anderson’s “funniest film in years”.

The Grand Budapest Hotel has a 15 rating, meaning that it is suitable for viewers aged 15 and older. The film is shown at Nunney Village Hall on Friday 12 September at 7.30pm. Door open at 7.00pm. Seats cannot be reserved, so please come early.

Tickets cost £5.00 in advance at the SPAR shop in Nunney or £6.00 on the door. A licensed bar will be available.
