Frome Community Hospital has 28 inpatient beds. There is a team of doctors, nurses and therapists who support patients during their hospital stay and who deliver personalised care in line with an agreed care plan.

Frome Community HospitalThe hospital has a nurse led Minor Injuries Unit which is open seven days a week (including Bank Holidays) 8am – 11pm.

In addition to the inpatient services at the hospital we provide outpatient clinics for a wide range of specialties. These include:
Consultants – Paediatrics, Diabetes, Orthopaedics, Urology, Gynaecology, Medicine, Neurology, Dermatology and Ophthalmology.
Specialist Nurses – Diabetes, COPD, Continence, Lymphoedema and Prostate Assessment.
Therapists – Speech and Language Therapy, Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy and Audiology.
Day Care Services – Blood Transfusions, IV Medication, support for Long Term Conditions and monitoring of medication reviews.
Renal Dialysis Unit – this service is provided for patients requiring dialysis by B Braun.
Birthing Centre – this service with facilities for antenatal care and birthing care is provided by a Wiltshire NHS provider.
