Ken Lloyd spent 10 years to raise the hundreds of thousands of pounds needed to give Nunney Church a fitting new ceiling.

He wrote countless letters to potential donors, organised events and exhibitions and dealt with the incredible amount of paperwork required to get permission for the work in the Grade I listed building.

In May this year the church, Nunney’s oldest monument, was rededicated by the Bishop of Bath and Wells. The church looks splendid again and is flooded with natural light.
