Nunney Acoustic Cafe featuring the Victorian Barbers

The next Nunney Acoustic Café on Sunday 2 November 2-6pm at Nunney village hall features the Victorian Barbers.

Victorian BarbersThe Victorian Barbers consist of the talents of Mr Thomas Edwin Caulfield on guitars, banjo, ukulele, harmonica and vocals, and David Christopher Hackett on drums, percussion, spoons, shakers, harmonica and vocals.

Playing a selection of vintage blues, folk, country, sea shanties and skiffle alongside the occasional self-penned number or two, they’re sure to tear up the stage of any pub, club, festival or function.

They’ve played at The World Garlic Eating Championships, The Sixpenny Handley Waistcoat Festival, The Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival, Wimborne Folk Festival, Wessex Folk Festival, Forever Sun, and Bournemouth’s finest night of alternative acoustic music, the Shindig.

Their album, simply called The Victorian Barbers, is now available online.

There’s also an interview with the band for your perusal on the Beardrevered website.

You can listen to more clips on the Victorian Barbers’ website, Facebook page and their Bandcamp channel.

Still the best PA around, and we’re kinda hoping the audience is going to be as awesome as ever?

Nothing’s changed on the food and drinkypoo front – great homemade lunches, cake, snackerels for the littlies, plus a nicely stocked bar and hot and cold drinks too.

Still a piddly £4 entry; free for under 16s and performers.

Doors open at 2pm and Nunney Acoustic Cafe finishes at 6-ish.
