Nunney Christmas lights are up!

Volunteers from Nunney Community Association (NCA) have placed Christmas trees at Nunney First School and in the Market Place.

Nunney Christmas lightsThe NCA traditionally pays for a Christmas tree in the Market Place.

Last year a second tree was added, in front of the school, after Visit Nunney won £1,000 worth of Christmas lights and donated them to the community.

The lights were the result of a content run by Revive & Thrive, a national network for organisations involved in community development. Visit Nunney CIC is a Revive & Thrive Advisory Board member.

As part of the contest, a Visit Nunney representative set out to the judging panel why our village deserved to win two new sets of lights.

Santa is due to visit Nunney later this week and Carols in the Castle takes place on Sunday 17 December.

Nunney Makes Christmas and the Christmas Tree Festival have already taken place.
