Nunney Christmas Market

A festive Nunney Christmas Market is taking place at The George at Nunney on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 December.

Nunney Christmas MarketChristmas in Nunney is always special. With its setting around the romantic ruin of the moated 14th century Nunney Castle, Christmas in Nunney sums up the festive season perfectly.

If you like Nunney Street Market and Fayre, you’ll love the Nunney Christmas Market.

The market has 18 tables, with each stallholder hand-picked by the event’s co-ordinator, Jeremy Gaunt. In a different capacity, Jeremy also organises the hugely successful Nunney Street Market and Fayre.

Nunney Christmas MarketThe event is taking place in a large heated marquee, supplied by Nunney-based South West Marquees and covering the entire courtyard garden at The George at Nunney.

Visitors are presented with a selection of seasonal stalls, from handmade gifts to yummy Christmas hamper fillers.

Stallholders include two Nunney-based firms: Whinberry & Antler, whose hand-printed textiles were a huge hit at Nunney Fayre, and Keren Hayden’s catering firm Events Horizon.

There are German sausages and beef burgers fresh from the barbecue, delicious bagels, cinnamon buns and plenty of other food and drink.
