Nunney Fayre 2018 takes place on Saturday 4 August from 10am to 5pm. You can now apply for stalls, with priority booking closing at the end of April.

Royal charter

Nunney Street Market and Fayre has been an annual event running since 1975 although it actually goes back to a royal charter granted way back in 1260.

It is run by Nunney Community Association and raises much needed funds which are used to improve and support our local village and surrounding communities.


The fayre is always hugely successful and we have far more applications than we have pitches/space in our village and so there has to be a selection process.

The sub-committee aims to ensure there is a good balance of stalls providing something for everyone.

It is therefore vital as you complete this application form that you ensure the details you provide are totally accurate and that as a prospective stallholder you fully appreciate these details cannot be changed.

Changing your stall may result in you being asked to leave the fayre.

If your application is successful, you will be notified and your payment must be received within 7 working days.

Terms and conditions

  1. Submitting an application does not guarantee you a pitch at Nunney Fayre.
  2. If you have been successful, payment and copies of all required paperwork must be received within the stated timeframe.
  3. The event runs from 10am to 5pm on Saturday 4 August 2018.
  4. You can set up at any time from 06.00 on the day of the event, but not after 07.45 as all vehicles need to be removed by 08.00. As stall holders, you need to arrive early, drop off your goods and park your vehicles BEFORE setting up your stall.
  5. No vehicles (except for emergency services vehicles) are allowed within the designated event area from 10.00 to 17.00 on the day of the event. Driving within the designated event area between these hours may result in an immediate ban for life.
  6. Space allocation is at the sole discretion of the Nunney Fayre Organiser.
  7. You must follow any instructions given by the Nunney Fayre Organiser and NCA event marshals – including keeping all designated routes free for emergency vehicles.
  8. All rubbish/waste must be removed by the stall holder.
  9. Every pitch must be left clear – as it was on arrival.
