Spate of thefts in Nunney

Avon & Somerset Police are warning residents to be vigilant after a recent spate of thefts and break-ins in Nunney.

policeOn Wednesday 14 January a garage on Catch Road was broken into. The thieves stole a number of items, including power tools and a mini-motorbike.

Unconfirmed reports say that two people have been arrested within 48 hours for this particular break-in.

It is not clear whether these are the same people behind the theft of a Makita drill and Makita jigsaw from the front seat of a van on Sunday morning in Quarry gardens. A petrol strimmer was stolen from outside the front door of a house in Glebelands on Friday 9 January.

Please be vigilant and keep valuables under lock and key. Opportunistic thefts can be traumatic and costly.
