New 4-week pottery courses start on 18 and 19 February at the Nunney Pottery on Church Street, run by Kim Birchall.
The 4-week pottery course will teach you the fundamentals of the ceramics techniques of throwing, hand-building and glazing. Your time will be balanced between slab, press-moulding, and hand-building, glazing/decorating with coloured slips and throwing.
You will have the opportunity to be very hands on and make a range of items to your own design, such as bowls, mugs, jewellery, vessels, sculpture, tiles etc.
The course is fun and therapeutic as well as sociable – make some lovely pieces and some new friends.
Suitable for beginners and returning students.
